A mom to 4 who fell in love with CrossFit! It’s the time I get to take care of myself both physically and mentally, a place my kids get to see me doing hard things, & a chance to feel empowered. I am here to help guide other moms who need to find themselves again in motherhood while getting fit & healthy!
Owner / Coach: O’Neal
Dad to 4 who loves powerlifting. O’Neal is a Certified CrossFit Coach but his passion lies with weight lifting. You’ll mostly catch him and a few other baseball dads working out later in the evenings - feel free jump in with them & bring the kids!
Coach: Melissa
I’ve been doing CrossFit for 11 years and coaching for 8. The community aspect of CrossFit is what has kept me coming back all these years. I’ve made so many lifelong friendships through the gym. My favorite movement is the power clean. No matter how exhausted I am during a workout, I can always do one more power clean. And then one more again, and again.
Coach: Jade
Jade loves the continuous challenge CrossFit provides and that every day is a new adventure! She been doing CrossFit for 6 years. Jade was motivated to get her L1 in 2021 because she really enjoyed working with the LHYC kids. Helping them understand how learning new skills and gaining strength can empower them. She hopes to help all athletes feel strong and proud of themselves. Her favorite movements are power cleans & box jumps, but don’t ask her to do thrusters!
Coach: Rob
Rob Reed dove into the world of CrossFit 2010 in Southern Illinois for a few years before moving to Missouri. After a small hiatus, he began his CrossFit journey again in 2022 with Sullivan CrossFit and made the leap to complete the Level 1 Trainer course in February 2024. His goal is to empower individuals to improve their health and confidence. He also has over 20 years in the Army National Guard and his favorite WOD is the Filthy Fifty.
